Consortiums
We register your company (or owner/operator) in a driver random pool program. This collection of drivers, called a consortium, is managed in accordance with Federal Requirements 49 CFR Part 40.
Your enrollment in this consortium is a key element in meeting those federal regulations. While enrolled in the consortium you have full access to our knowledgeable staff. We will work to help you stay in compliance with the drug and alcohol testing rules set forth by the Department of Transportation.
The following link provides information directly from the Department of Transportation's website Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration about DOT - Drug and Alcohol testing information.
We know that some of the language involved in making business decisions can be quite confusing, so we are providing the following definition for clarity: consortium = an association, typically of several business companies.
The cost savings alone are significant. While most other companies charge a fee to enroll you in a consortium program, we provide that service at no extra cost (free).
Our consortium provides policy development, program implementation, DHHS certified laboratory analysis, collection services, mobile or onsite collection services, BAT services, SAP referrals, MRO services, supervisor training, driver educational materials, employee assistance program alternatives, consultation services, random testing pool management selection and administration, quality control (blind samples), recordkeeping, federal report preparation, and regulation updates as needed. Please feel free to contact us at, 310-417-9002, anytime for more information.
